Ultimately, that comes down to connection: connection with the Earth and connection with each other. We're heavily influenced by naturism, nudism, or, as we say, Mudism.
We believe that to effectively defend something, you must become one with it.
Company Mu is about literally removing the barriers between you and nature—wearing as little as possible—so that this ultra-powerful spiritual connection can be made. But we also have to tear down our own barriers of self-protection so that we can truly connect with each other, multiply our force, and actually make change.
By wearing Company Mu, we physically broadcast our freedom which communicates to others that they can also be free: Free to control their bodies, free of fear, free to put themselves out there for something they believe in. There are plenty of sustainable apparel brands out there, but no one has attempted to integrate technology, philanthropy, and body at this level. Is there value in saying we're the most sustainable thong and sunga company on the planet? We think so.
(In case you don't know, "sungas" are the swim briefs guys wear in Brazil. Board shorts are not for swimming!)
